Gunther Brown is an Americana roots rock band from Portland, Maine.

The band's third full length album, Heartache & Roses was released 2/15/2020. Then, covid happened. Gunther Brown is now presenting, In the Environment, a series of live audio and video recordings. Captured in interesting and unexpected places, these performances capture the songs in a single-take recording live off the floor.
